Donation Requests
Thank you for your interest in Sawyer County Outdoor Projects and Education’s donation request program.
We want to put money back into Sawyer County when it comes to youth involvement in the outdoors, community improvement, outdoor education events or classes, habitat improvement and so on.
Do you have a project, program or event that needs financial support?
2024 donation request period (9/30-12/11/23)
Applicants will be notified by 1/12/24
If you missed the request period, please apply. We will consider the application at a regularly scheduled board meeting.
Guidelines for Donation Applications:
We don’t support food or beverage costs. The request must be related to our mission statement: youth involvement in the outdoors, community improvement, outdoor education events or classes, habitat improvement and so on.
We prefer to support & work with local businesses, because local businesses support us. Lastly, we want our community and supporters to know what we’re up to, so in return for SCOPE’s support, we ask you share our contribution on social media or local news outlets.
Applicants may be requested to present their project to our donation request committee. The committee will contact applicants with questions or presentation requests. The SCOPE board will either approve or deny requests based on donation request committee recommendations.
